Happy New Year everybody! We’ve had a great time working on the podcast last year and we look forward to what we have planned for 2023!

The past year has been really fun. We’ve finally finished the journey we began in 2018 discussing all the Thirteenth Doctor stories. This year we reviewed her final episodes Eve of the Daleks, Legend of the Sea Devils and The Power of the Doctor.

The After Show LIVE: Legend of the Sea Devils

One of the highlights of the year was doing the livestreams with our very own extended fam, The After Show hosts! We will of course be reuniting in November this year to discuss the 60th anniversary of Doctor Who!

We had some great nights inviting guests onto the podcast. In April Harry and Luke from Who Can Convince You? joined us to discuss Planet of the Daleks. In May we had more guests joining us for our 100th episode including All of Time and Space’s Mark and Neither the Time nor the Space’s Matt. And also in September we were joined by Pieces of Eighth’s Kenny Smith to discuss Storm Warning. We’ll be sure to invite more great people onto the podcast very soon!

We celebrated the end of 2022 with our first ever Advent Calendar boasting some great exclusive mini episodes generously recorded by other podcasters!

So what exactly is coming up on Cloister Bell Podcast this year? We will be concluding our run of Season 18 reviews, we’ll be discussing the Tenth Doctor special The Next Doctor, The Daleks Master Plan, Eighth Doctor story The Sword of Orion, more Torchwood and much more before we arrive at the 60th anniversary this November.
