So I can remember Phil Cornwell in this, the doctor at his most unbearably messianic, and Capaldi being really bland as Caecilius. I’m an outlier in my opinion that series four was very weak, but this was one of the better offerings from the first half of the run.

The Fires Of Pompeii was a excellent episode in which it ushered in The 12th Doctor Peter Cappelli.

I enjoyed the fires of Pompeii and thought it really showed what kind of person Donna was! Also very cool to look back and see the future 12th doctor and a future Amy Pond!
